Our motivation
Get to know us, where we started and where we're going :)
First of all, we would like to thank you for your interest in our webshop!
Secondly, allow us to give you a brief introduction to the history of SteelDecor and why we started this very colourful and unique company.
Sport has been a big part of my life since I was a kid, but it was a few years ago that I got into the world of steeplechasing. I won many medals in competitions, but somehow I never found the perfect place for them, so they always ended up at the bottom of my drawer.
Then one day I got fed up and started looking for opportunities online. However, nowhere could I find a coin tray like that:
- that really suited me,
- that would give me back everything that I am,
- that suits me and my sport,
- that also motivates me to keep collecting medals and
- and that would help me to continue to perform at my best in future competitions.
Then I had an idea to realise my own vision and make a unique medal holder that was really tailored to me. I didn't choose an ordinary material as the basis, because I dreamed of a metal medal holder.
It wasn't long before my first coin holder was born:
- with my nickname (The Bumblebee),
- my favourite motivational quote (...)
- and figures and images related to my sport (obstacles, Spartan helmet, trifecta holder).
After seeing my medal holder, my teammates also started to ask me for their own unique medal holder, as they
